We present a new initiative that we believe will be of great interest to you.

Dialogues of light on the net is a sharing of opinions about lighting design and lighting around different areas, to meet on the screen and to chat about our relationship with light. We begin this series of talks with the dialogue Painting musicals, in which we will be able to listen to the professionals Juanjo Llorens and Carlos Torrijos talk about this subject. The talks will be through the zoom platform and Facebook Live.

JUANJO LLORENS

In his career, he has made lighting designs in different modalities of the Performing Arts: Theatre, Circus and Cabaret, Opera, Zarzuela, Musicals, Dance, multimedia events, TV events and large format Musical Groups. In technical direction he has worked for the company Kamikaze Producciones and the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico under the orders of directors such as Adolfo Marsillach, Miguel Narros, Helena Pimenta and Sergi Belbel, among others. He has won the Max Award three times for best lighting design for “La función por hacer”. “Of Mice and Men” and “The Curious Incident of the Dog at Midnight’.

CARLOS TORRIJOS

He has made lighting designs in different areas of the world of the stage such as plays, musicals, dance shows, opera, live music and events. He has also worked on public and private management projects for entities such as the Compañía Nacional de Danza, the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico, the Teatro Real and production companies such as Som Produce, Stage Entertainment Spain and Nullarbor Productions. Throughout his career he has collaborated with directors Adolfo Marsillach, Michael Cacoyannis, Alfonso Zurro, Andres Lima, Jean-Pierre Miquel, BT McNicholl and David Serrano, among others. He has been nominated for several awards and prizes in recognition of his professional career as a lighting designer.
