Our associate Florencio Ortiz has been awarded in the III Andalusian Theatre Awards given by the Association of Performing Arts of Andalucia for his work in “La Estrella de Sevilla”.
With a degree in Hispanic philology, he began his theatrical career in the early 90’s working as a technician at the C.A.T., Teatro Central de Sevilla and as technical director of the Compañía Andaluza de Danza when it was founded. He made his debut as a lighting designer in 2000, and since then he has created more than 50 lighting designs for companies such as: Eva Yerbabuena, Cía. Isabel Bayón, Cía. Alicia Márquez, Cía. Manuela Nogales, Caín Club Teatro, Cía. Belén Maya, Estrella Morente, Fanfarlo Teatro, La Fundición de Sevilla, Teatro Clásico de Sevilla and Zacatín teatro, among others.
