XXI Encounter Of The Light: David Picazo / Richard III at Pavón Kamikaze Theatre
On Friday, October 11, took place in the main hall of the Kamikaze Theatrethe XXI Encounter of Light organized by the Association of Lighting Authorswith the presence of David Picazolighting designer of the work Richard III. This 21st edition, with the collaboration of Kamikaze Theatre and celebrated with great success, presented the work of David Picazo who explained his work methodology to more than 30 people, who appreciated the dress rehearsal of the play. Richard III by William Shakespeare, directed by Miguel del Arcoon October 9. The Encounters of light are a proposal that consists of spreading the knowledge of the professionals of the light, their techniques and dramaturgical visions in the different scenic fields. Six years ago, in July 2013, the Encounters were born as an event to connect professionals, partners, designers and students, with big names in the world of lighting, such as: Jennifer Tipton, Jean Kalman, James Ingalls and different AAI members. About David Picazo
(Merida, 1975). Actor, stage director and lighting designer. David Picazo is trained in acting, combining theatre and dance. In direction he begins his career in the co-direction of the dance show 13 Roses of the Company Arrieritos-flamenco (2005), awarded with two Max prizes (2006) as best dance show and best choreography.
