José Vaaliña is the director of Eyesberg, a multimedia art studio specialized in transforming environments into interactive and immersive works of art such as large format projections, interactive installations, light installations, Fulldome films and immersive operas. He has been in charge of Video Direction in several international theater productions in collaboration with La Fura del Baus, and in musicals such as WAH SHOW, currently at IFEMA.
Eyesberg’s works have been exhibited in relevant festivals such as Festival Llum BCN, Festival LuzMadrid, MIRA Festival, Sónar, Bright Festival, Ombra Festival, and in several editions of the Festival de la Mercè, Barcelona’s main festival, in one of which he presented the first immersive videomapping in La Pl. Sant Jaume on the facades of the government palaces. In 2022, also with a videomapping he turned the Palacio de Cibeles into a Christmas greeting, being one of the largest in Spain to date.
His immersive projects have been seen in different art centers around the world, including the Musa Museo de las Artes de Guadalajara in Mexico; the Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig in Germany; the Ideal Centro de Artes Digitales in Barcelona and the Madrid Artes Digitales.
