David Benito Picón was born in 1979 in Madrid.
He has a degree in Art History and Fine Arts, a Master’s degree in Research in Art and Creation and collaborates with the Photography Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the UCM.
He has worked in the technical area with the companies Atra Bilis, Daniel Abreu, La Tristura, HorsChamp, Paz Rojo and Rocío Molina among others, the theatres El Canto de la Cabra, Pradillo and Guindalera, and has been technical co-director of the festival El lugar sin límites of the Centro Dramático Nacional.
In terms of creative disciplines, he has worked with Pablo Remón, Carolina África, Carlos Marquerie, Irene Cantero and Elena Córdoba, with some of whom he still collaborates actively.
He currently combines his work in lighting and visual arts with the technical direction of the Autumn Festival and teaching in the Degree in Design at the UCM.
