We are very happy to be able to share with you a new and interesting activity. This is a Masterclass with the lighting designer Don Holder, nominated thirteen times in the Awards Tony, winner of this award twice for his work in“The Lion King” and“South Pacific” and winner of 5 Drama desk awards.
Don Holder is a recognized professional responsible for, among other designs, “
Anastasia, Golden boy, Spider-man turn off the dark, The king and I“,“Tootsie“, etc…
He has consulted for large-scale theatres in several countries, is a sought-after teacher of theatrical lighting, and is a graduate of the University of Maine and the Yale School of Drama. He is also director of lighting design on the faculty of the California Institute of the Arts (Valencia, California), as well as a member of the dance faculty at the Juilliard School. He has also done several Broadway lighting master classes.
We are pleased to invite you to share with us this meeting where Don Holder will talk about his work and his vision of the lighting designer’s work, thanks to his extensive experience of more than 29 years in musical theatre, opera, cinema, television and architectural lighting.
