IEDLuce 2016. Squeezing the light at IED Master’s Lighting Event

IED Master
, AAI, APDI y RDI Spain to bring together manufacturers, professionals and those interested in the sector and discover new ways of expression through light.
It will take place on 4 February 2016, coinciding exactly with the official closing of the International Year of Light to be held in Yucatan (Mexico).

Light will be the main ingredient in this day where it will be evident that the borders. We will also have space for a series of presentations where you can discover first-hand the latest news from leading companies and organizations in lighting and design. This edition, IEDluce is pleased to present:

Rogier van der Heide

Rogier van der Heide is a renowned designer, currently Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Design Officer of Zumtobel Group. Until August 2014 Rogier was ChiefDesign Officer and Vice President of Philips Lighting.

Rogier focuses on design-led innovation as an enabler of bridging technology and creating meaningful life-enhancing solutions. He has 20 years of experience in engaging, inspiring and dimensional design that fuses light, image projection, architecture and product design to create authentic, memorable experiences from around the world.

He has received more than 20 individual design awards and his design team at Philips got made more than 35 times with iF awards and Reddot awards, the industry awards for innovative design. Rogier’s work is widely recognized as a leader in the field of creative design.

This year, IEDLuce puts the focus on light as an enhancer of spaces and their contents, enhancing and highlighting the importance and characteristics of the objects in many different aspects, especially in consumer spaces where light is the key factor that decides for us through our senses: what we want to buy, eat, touch or have.
