Valentín Alvarez, member of the AAI, winner for best lighting in the XXIV María Casares Theatre Awards 2020
Valentín Álvarez, member of the AAI, lighting designer and director of photography, has received the award for the best lighting of 2020 of the prestigious METjores Awards of the magazine madridesteatro.com. He has won for his lighting work in the play entitled “Prostitución”, with dramaturgy by Andrés Lima and Albert Boronat, and which was performed by Carmen Machi, Nathalie Poza and Carolina Yuste, with piano by Laia Vallés. The list of the METjores en Teatro en Madrid is a popular vote based on readers’ favourites, created by popular vote. Congratulations also to the finalist lighting designers, Felipe Ramos (AAI) for Las Criadas, Juan Gómez-Cornejo (AAI) for Macbeth and La máquina de Turing, and Paco Ariza for El enfermo imaginario.
