The Spanish Illuminator Juanjo Beloqui, has been in charge of the design and operation of the Opening and Closing galas of the X Central American Sports Games in the National Stadium of the city of San José in Costa Rica.

With the participation of companies such as La Fura dels Baus, the French urban theatre company OFF, Paradax with Heliosphere, Kites and Paramotors, local dance and theatre companies, and thousands of volunteers, two unique events in the history of Costa Rica were created.

This material was obtained between Costa Rica, Panama and Puerto Rico, making the coordination for the assembly and execution of the two events quite complicated. For which the performance of Technical Director Daniel Diaz was crucial.
Being a live event for the nearly 30,000 attendees at the national stadium, it was also necessary to take into account the television production, broadcasting live to the entire continent and streaming around the world, without losing the theatrical character that the directors wanted to maintain.
The Games closed with a concert by Colombian Carlos Vives in the stadium.
