Today the show cannot be understood without the light score, which contributes to embellish it and to be a source of sensations and emotions.
This volume gathers recent works of some of the most outstanding illuminators of the Spanish scene, in a journey illustrated with photographs and in which they themselves tell their professional experience. The selection of authors covers a wide range of specialties: dance, theater, live light, virtual simulation, led light, video-scene… Having the artistic testimony of each author makes this book a useful tool, which gives clues to students who are starting in this profession and to all those interested in the magical and complex art of stage lighting.
The book counts with the participation of Trade Escuela Técnica del Espectáculo, Fluge Audiovisuales, Robe, EES and the Asociación de Autores de Iluminación.
On the occasion of the publication of the second edition of the book ‘La luz, melodía del arte escénico. Lighting design in staging’, we have organized a meeting with the authors who participated in its creation. AAI members Cayetano Astiaso, Miguel Angel Camacho, Nicolás Fischtel, Juan Gómez-Cornejo, Alvaro Luna, Ezequiel Nobili, Felipe Ramos and Pedro Yagüe participated in the meeting.
